Thai Seaplane Leads the Way in Marine Conservation

Phuket, Thailand – January 15, 2025Thai Seaplane proudly hosted the Dugong Conservation and Seagrass Protection Project event at Tha La Beach, Phuket. This impactful event brought together leading experts and community partners to raise awareness for the preservation of Thailand’s vital marine ecosystems.

The event, led by Professor Saisanit Phongsuwan, a renowned expert in seagrass restoration from Phuket Rajabhat University, focused on the importance of seagrass restoration and dugong conservation. It highlighted the significance of these efforts in safeguarding Thailand’s marine biodiversity.

Commitment to Preservation

In addition to raising awareness, Thai Seaplane Co., Ltd. demonstrated its commitment to marine conservation by donating a seagrass nursery pond to the Pa Khlok Mangrove and Coastal Resources Conservation Group and the Pa Khlok Coastal Fishermen Group in Thalang, Phuket. This donation is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support seagrass restoration and marine ecosystem preservation in the region.
