Thai Seaplane Company Limited made a powerful impact at the 7th Civil Aviation South East Asia Summit 2024 (CASEA 2024), held on November 26-27, 2024, at the Hilton Bangkok Grande Asoke!

Our visionary CEO, Mr. Kasinpoj Rodkho, took the spotlight as a distinguished speaker, sharing valuable insights and expertise with industry leaders. The event brought together key players in aviation to discuss the future of civil aviation in Southeast Asia.

CASEA 2024: A Leading Platform for Aviation Advancements

Since its inception in 2016, CASEA has become Thailand’s premier civil aviation event, uniting industry leaders to discuss key trends, challenges, and innovations in the Thai and ASEAN aviation sectors.

The 2024 summit provided a crucial forum to review industry progress, reflect on insights from the past year, and set strategic priorities for 2025. Through high-level discussions and forward-looking perspectives, CASEA 2024 remains integral in shaping the future of aviation in the region.

This year’s event featured eminent speakers, including representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand, Dr. Pongpat Thiensiri (Deputy Director General, Board of Investment), Dr. Ratchanee Wattanawisitporn (Executive Director, Investment Promotion Division 4, Board of Investment), and Latchida Apaphant (EVP Foreign Affairs, Airports of Thailand). Their insights played a vital role in driving meaningful discussions on the industry’s growth and transformation.

Kasinpoj Rodkho: A Visionary Leader in Aviation

Mr. Kasinpoj Rodkho, with extensive entrepreneurial experience, founded Thai Seaplane to introduce Thailand’s first seaplane operations, designed for the country’s unique geography.

Under his leadership, Thai Seaplane has achieved key milestones, including acquiring Thailand’s first Cessna 208 Amphibian, “Phi Phi,” and obtaining an Air Operator Certificate (AOC). Based in Phuket, the airline is enhancing connectivity and promoting sustainable travel to Thailand’s iconic islands, including Ko Lipe and Ko Pha Ngan.

Taking Flight Over Water

At CASEA 2024, Mr. Kasinpoj delivered a keynote presentation titled “Taking Flight Over Water: Opportunities, Ambitions, and Challenges for a Seaplane Airline Startups in Thailand.” His discussion focused on Thai Seaplane’s efforts in bridging land and water travel, leveraging the C208 Amphibian, and implementing a hub-and-spoke model from Phuket to key island destinations.

Thai Seaplane’s 2025 Strategy: Andaman CMA

During his address, Mr. Kasinpoj also introduced Thai Seaplane’s Andaman CMA Strategy for 2025, which encompasses three key pillars:

  • C – Connecting business, education, people, and places.
  • M – Medevac: Delivering high-quality, rapid air ambulance services and medical transport.
  • A – Aegis Environmental: Committing to a healthier marine environment for future generations.

With a continued focus on innovation, safety, and regional growth, Thai Seaplane remains committed to advancing seaplane connectivity in Thailand and beyond. A notable highlight of its operations includes the Phuket to Phi Phi Island route, offering an efficient 15-minute seaplane journey, significantly enhancing travel convenience in the region.
