Getting Here
From Phuket Airport
Approximately a 2-hour drive to Ao Nang Pier, followed by a 15-minute boat ride will get you to Railay. Taxis, minibuses, or private car hires are available for the journey to the pier.
From Krabi Airport
Just a 30-minute drive to Ao Nang Pier, and then the short boat ride. Airport shuttles, taxis, and car hires are the most convenient options.
Note: As Railay is not accessible by road, the final leg of the journey will always be by boat.
Best Time to Visit
The prime time to experience Railay Beach is between November and April. This period boasts sunny days, clear waters, and minimal rainfall, ideal for beach outings and rock climbing. The monsoon season from May to October sees fewer crowds, offering a serene atmosphere but with more unpredictable weather.
